Mapping Health Risks Across Boston
For this project, I built an interactive Power BI dashboard to support healthcare decision-making by visualizing patterns in syringe requests. The dataset itself is confidential, but the focus of the project was on transforming raw request logs into meaningful insights through data storytelling.
I used Python for data cleaning and merging, handling multiple files and formatting inconsistencies before importing the cleaned data into Power BI. From there, I used Power Query for further transformation and DAX to build calculated measures and KPIs. The final dashboard includes interactive filters, maps, and time-based visuals to help users explore the data intuitively.
Even though the dashboard can't be shared publicly, I’ve recorded a short demo video to highlight its interactivity and design. This project was a great way to bring together Python scripting and BI tools to create something both technically solid and visually engaging.
